①　ジョンジョーンズには2025/2/21発覚、2025/6/24出廷の求められている刑事事件がある。それは自動車事故に絡んだものだ。

A few hours after the news broke, a new report from the Albuquerque Journal revealed that there’s a criminal summons against Jones with a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of an accident stemming to an incident on February 21st. The summons was filed this past Tuesday and he has been called to appear in court on July 24th.

②　事故発生時、警官はジョーンズの車の中に下半身裸で酒に酔った女性を発見した。しかし現場に既にジョンジョーンズは居らず、女性の情報から警官がジョンジョーンズに電話すると現れたジョンジョーンズは泥酔して現れ、警官を脅し続けた。

An Albuquerque police officer was investigating a crash when she saw a woman in the car “exhibiting signs of significant intoxication and lacking clothing from the waste down.” The woman said Jones was the driver and when the officer called Jones, he “appeared to be heavily intoxicated and made statements implying his capacity to employ lethal force through third parties.”

③　警官は応援を警察署に要求し、その間ジョンジョーンズの脅しは続いた。

The officer requested backup and also said similar threats of violence were made.

④　数日後、しらふに戻ったジョンジョーンズは概（おおむ）ね女性の主張は正しいことを認めたが、②③の脅しは、現場にいた警官の態度によって引き起こされたと答えた。

Several days later, Jones was interviewed in person and said the woman left his house intoxicated earlier in the day and called him after getting in the accident. He then said the officer he spoke with used “unprofessional language” which made him think it wasn’t legit.

⑤　女性の方は酩酊していた上に、どうやらジョンジョーンズの自宅で”マッシュルーム（ドラッグ）”を騙されて口に入れられたようだ、と訴えた。その不可解なマッシュルームを口にした後、彼女は記憶を失ったらしい。

The woman later told the police she drank alcohol and took mushrooms at Jones’ house, and after changing her clothes at her house, the next thing she remembered was being at the scene of an accident. She said Jones was the last person she remembered driving the car.

⑥　口封じのためか、ジョンジョーンズは深夜から午前11:34まで女性に電話やらテキストメッセージを送りまくっていたらしい。

According to the report, Jones called the woman’s phone 13 times from the time of the crash until 11:34 AM the next morning in addition to text messages.
